If you are trying to achieve a high, hard paste wax luster, this wax brush and your 3/8" chuck (or larger) power drill is the way to go:

  • Simply apply a very thin film of wax with #0000 steel wool, let the solvent evaporate and then use the brush in your drill to buff it up.
  • Unlike hand buffing where high points are burnished but lows are left untouched, brush bristles reach into carving and molding recesses and the pores of open surfaces resulting in more wax being brought to a higher luster.
  • 3/4" x 4" dia. wood disc has 1-1/2" long fiber bristles.
