TRU-GRIND SHARPENING SYSTEM

The Woodcut_® Tru-Grind Sharpening System is a compact well designed system that will sharpen a full range of woodturning tools from bowl gouges to skew chisels. The system includes the Tru-Grind Tool Holder, Tru-Grind Base Slide, instructional DVD and booklet describing set up and use. An optional Sturdy Rest makes sharpening scrapers and other tools faster and easy:

The adjustable Base Slide is first mounted under the left grinding wheel base will fit under right side of a bench grinder by simply unbolting and repositioning the slide on the base plate.

The Tool Holder is then held into the pivoting cup on the end of the Base Slide and is used for sharpening gouges, scrapers and chisels.

Tools up to 1-1/2" wide are securely locked into the Tool Holder using the top mounted brass tightening knob.

The Tool Holder has a dual pivoting design with several notched locking positions for commonly used angles.

Optional right and left Sturdy Rests bolt onto existing base slides and can be pivoted out of the way when not in use.

Optional right and left Base Slides are available and come pre-positioned to fit under either side of the bench grinder.

A fully outfitted bench grinder sharpening system would include a Tru-Grind Sharpening System (Tool Holder and Base Slide), an additional Base Slide and a Sturdy Rest.
