FAMOWOOD® #1 Professional Wood Fillers are face grade fillers with a very high solids content for easy smoothing and easy sanding:

Solvent based FAMOWOOD® Filler has been the PROs choice for over 50 years:

  • Fast Dry Time: Usually dry in 15 minutes and ready to be sawed, drilled, sanded, planed or nailed.
  • High Solids Content: Since it is made of wood it accepts stains naturally.
  • Minimal Shrinkage: Stronger than the wood it replaces with little to no signs of shrinkage.
  • Water and Weather Resistant: Use indoors or out.
  • Use FAMOWOOD® Solvent to reconstitute older or thickened filler-add a small amount before sealing can to keep filler ready for next use.


    • Solvent free FAMOWOOD® Filler has all the same qualities of solvent based filler but is free from solvent fumes, low in toxicity, meets VOC regulations, has minimal shrinkage, is non-flammable and cleans up with water:

  • Available in one pint, 1/4 pint, and 3-1/4 oz. tubes.
  • Store above 45° and it lasts over six months.
