     Recognizing these limitations, Woodworker's Supply redesigned the basic push block into PUSHBLOCK^TM, a tool that delivers comfort and safety by employing the best gripping pad available. Using state-of-the-art technology, a low modulus elastomer pad is over-molded onto the bottom of each PUSHBLOCK, creating a molecular bond that ensures the pad will not peel off. Durometer monitoring during the molding process ensures proper thickness, tackiness and cushion.
     The improved PUSHBLOCK with its "super sticky," non-marking pad provides subtle control, a precise grip and absolute control of a work piece. Each measures 2-3/4 inches x 6-3/4 inches; its overall height is 2-7/8 inches. A symmetrical handle with four thumb supports fits almost any size hand and provides a comfortable grip from different angles so pressure can be applied downwards, forward and to the sides. Manufactured using bright yellow co-polymer plastic, PUSHBLOCKs stand up to abuse but will not damage cutters or create shrapnel if they strike tooling.
