OFFERS TWO FOREARM SUPPORT SIZES FOR CONTROLLED DEEP HOLLOWING
The Scorpion Boring System from Don Pencil offers 3/4" diameter straight and swan neck boring bars, a pistol grip, a forearm support (available in two sizes) and a collection of cutters for a complete deep hollowing system:

  • Forearm supports are available in standard 8-3/4" or short 6-3/4" lengths and fasten onto a padded steel pistol grip for leverage control.
  • The Pistol Grip accepts boring bars from other systems through a collection of Reduction Inserts providing flexibility.
  • Complete system includes: straight and swan neck boring bars, pistol grip, one forearm rest, four inserts and a complete HHS cutter bit set (cutters, scrapers, screws, hex wrenches and 3/16" rotating bit set).


    • STINGER Mini Hollowers are available for small hollow turning:
  • Boring bar set includes hook, straight and side cut tools, four HHS cutting bits, setscrews, hex wrench and instructions.
  • These mini boring bars fit the 3/4" Scorpion pistol grip with the 7/16" reduction insert.
  • Handles can also be turned for these mini hollowers.
