PRO-FORME HOLLOWING TOOL SYSTEM

The Woodcut_® Pro-Forme Hollowing Tools are some of the most effective turning tools available for deep hollowing and general roughing work. These efficient tools quickly remove large amounts of material without the fear of catch and dig-in. The system includes three boring bars with powerhead cutters and a Promaster 20" Handle. Three different 5/8" diameter boring bars are avaiable: Straight for general cutting operations, Slight Bend for inside wall cutting and Heavy Bend for inside wall and under-rim cutting. The replaceable Powerhead Cutters have an adjustable gauge for light or aggressive cutting operations and the Promaster 20" Handle will extend reach to 10" beyond tool rest. An optional Pro-Scraper assembly is designed for high-speed surface finishing operations:

Precision Powerhead cutters feature triple-tempered High Speed Steel with an open-sided hook to allow shavings to be ejected without clogging.

Cutters are sharpened with hand held diamond hones rotated around the cutter end - instructions included.

Pro-Forme Starter Kit includes Straight Boring Bar with Powerhead Cutter and a Promaster 20" Handle.

Pro-Forme Advanced Kit includes Straight, Slight Bend and Heavy Bend boring bars with Powerhead Cutters and a Promaster 20" Handle.

1-1/8" diameter Promaster 20" Handle has a padded foam grip for comfort and control. The 5/8" diameter end couplers make it possible to join two or more handles together for an even longer reach.

Optional Pro-Scraper assembly includes two High Speed Steel scraper cutters.
