For those with physical or age related issues, sitting down while turning, sanding and finishing can be a real comfort. The innovative ONEWAY 1236SD Lathe offers the option of flipping the bed down on its side so it can be used while sitting down. The toolrest and tailstock are designed to run smoothly on their side along tubular bedways for easy movement and handling. The motor has full speed reverse and the on/off switch and speed controls are built into a remote control unit that will magnetically attach anywhere to the lathe for convenient access:
