NOVA DVR XP LATHE

The Nova DVR XP^™ Wood Lathe has a digital variable reluctance (DVR) motor built into the headstock. This directly drives the lathe spindle producing higher torque with a minimum loss of power. The lathe is pre-wired for 120V but can be easily wired to 240V for an additional boost in power. A touch-pad microcomputer with digital display controls speeds, forward/reverse and five pre-programmable turning speeds. The pivoting headstock rotates 360° with swivel locks at 22-1/2°, 45°, 90° and 315°. An optional outboard turning assembly increases turning capacity while providing ergonomic comfort. Lathe includes 12" tool rest, 3" faceplate, spur drive, live center, hand wheel and instruction manual (cast iron stand and outboard assembly are optional).

Optional 20" bed extension increases between centers distance to 44".
