Odor levels have been dramatically reduced making Low Odor Lightning Bond^™ much more comfortable to use indoors by many craftsmen who are sensitive to normal CA glue fumes. I also notice that my eyes don't sting when working with this instant glue. Low Odor Lightning Bond^™ super glue is ideal for quickly adhering surfaces without clamping and repairing cracks quickly - a tremendous time saver. It is also very useful for finishing small turnings on the lathe. This glue is formulated for adhering wood but will bond virtually anything including cloth, glass, leather, paper, metal, most plastics, stone, wood, etc. It will not bond Teflon®, high-density polyethylene or polypropylene on it's own. Works best on tight fitting joints, but many loose fitting joints can also be successfully bonded using the thick. Working times vary but average around 30 seconds for the thin viscosity when applied to snug fitting joints. Medium and thick viscosity instant glues have slightly longer tack times. Add Lightning Activator to greatly reduce tack-up time of all viscosities. Please allow all cyanoacrylate(CA) instant, super glues approximately 24 hours to fully cure for maximum strength.
