A clamping, holding and spreading tool, the patented Lightning Clamp® and Spreader lets you work over almost any distance by using threaded steel rods joined together with coupling nuts:

  • To clamp, move the sliding faceplate up to the work, lock on and twist the handle to tighten. Pull the locking lever up and the clamp releases, instantly, even under full pressure. Reverse the faceplates for spreading.
  • One-end adjusting and tightening means quicker and more efficient one-person operations.
  • Comes with 1/2" dia. x 24" long rod (13TPI, 0.0833 pitch UNC thread), coupling nut and instructions.
  • 5 lbs. net weight; 5-1/2 lbs. shipping weight.
