Designed for turning bowls as well as pens, spindles and boxes, the new DELTA^® 12" Midi-Lathes now have enough the horsepower, swing and belt grip for most types of woodturning. Two models are available: 3/4HP, 5-speed model 46-455 and the 1HP, variable speed model 46-460. These are the first midi lathes to offer both forward and reverse drive rotations through a reversible DC drive. Features include all cast iron construction, 6-groove poly-V belt drive, locking faceplate for reverse sanding operations and a patented quick-change belt tensioning system:

Lathe includes 6" and 10" tool rests, 3" face plate, spur drive, live center, knockout rod, faceplate wrench and instruction manual.

Optional 25-1/2" bed extension brings distance between centers to 42".
