If you have been carving very long, you know about world famous Two Cherries carving tools. They are hand forged using high carbon tool steel, heat treated by hand and finely ground and mirror polished by hand:

  • Hardened to Rc 61 and heat treated using the immersion bath method (which gives a much more consistent hardness), these amazing tools will take a little extra time to hone, however, they will stay sharper longer than almost any other tool available.
  • Steel hoops fortify the Hornbeam handles and help prevent mushrooming and splitting.
  • Final honing required prior to use.
