BLUMOTION™ for doors installs directly into cabinet panels (10mm dia. x 50mm deep bore) or fastens onto panels or face frames using cast zinc adapters:

  • Cylinder senses how hard the door is being closed and adjusts resistance to keep the door from slamming shut.
  • Optimal mounting position for use with COMPACT™ hinges is top mounted, 8"-12" from the hinge side.
  • For use with CLIP top™ hinges, the optimal mounting position is centered on the side opposite the hinges.
  • Based upon door weight, size and number of hinges used, optimal mounting position can vary. A trial application is recommended.
  • For doors up to 24" wide, one BLUMOTION™ cylinder is usually sufficient. For taller or heavier doors, two might be required.
  • Sold individually or in boxes of 50.
  • For ease of installation, the BLUMOTION™ Drilling Template is designed for boring for either direct mounting into the cabinet side or to position pilot holes for the inline or wing adapters.
