Heavy, cast iron and steel for rigidity and stability, the DELTA® Industrial Model 14-651 Deluxe Mortiser comes with 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" DELTA® chisels and bits:

  • 120VAC, 1/2 HP, 4.8A, 1PH, 1,750 RPM induction motor - 3/8" chuck with key.
  • 5" maximum stroke; unique, gas-filled head stabilizer.
  • 9-3/8" under head to base, 3-3/4" under holddown.
  • Included riser block adds 1-3/4" capacity under head.
  • Easy, open access to drill chuck for bit changing.
  • 12-1/4" x 8-1/4" cast iron table with through hole; 16-1/4" x 13-1/2" base.
  • Rack & pinion adjustable 2-15/16" x 5-13/16" fence (each side), 13-5/8" overall.
  • Mortising head can turn 180° for off table mortising.
  • Multi-position feed lever.
  • Pre-drilled base for bench mounting.
  • Tool and chisel tray and instruction manual included.
  • 30"H x 13-1/2"W x 16-1/4"D overall.

  • Replacement mortise chisels have 5/8" chisel shanks:
  • 17-908 - 1/4" mortise, 1-7/8" cut depth; 4-1/4"L chisel, 6-1/8"L bit.
  • 17-909 - 5/16" mortise, 1-7/8" cut depth; 4-1/4"L chisel, 6-1/8"L bit.
  • 17-910 - 3/8" mortise, 3" cut depth; 5-1/2"L chisel, 7-1/8"L bit.
  • 17-911 - 1/2" mortise, 3" cut depth; 5-1/2"L chisel, 7-1/8"L bit.
