Although they can be applied by hand, for best results use J.E. MOSER'S^® Polishing Compounds with a machine buffer and foam pads:

Coarse Polishing Compound #1 follows 400-600 grit sanding to create a matte sheen. Yellow Cutting Foam Pad recommended for application; threaded backing plate attached.

Use Medium Polishing Compound #2 after 600-800 grit sanding or following Compound #1 to create a high gloss finish. White Polishing Foam Pad recommended for application; threaded backing plate attached.

Fine Polishing Compound #3, when used following Compound #2, creates a very high gloss surface. Also removes 1,000 grit sanding marks on lacquer, polyurethane or polyester coatings and can be used to restore gloss or remove oxidation from fiberglass. White Polishing Foam Pad recommended.

All come in 1.65 lb. cans.

NOTE: Always use a separate pad for each compound. For new or dry pads, dampen pad surface by misting with water and continue periodic mising during use. Wash, as necessary, in warm water and mild detergent to prevent compound from drying out or becoming caked on the pad.

Liquid Swirl Remover Polishing Compound #4 completely removes fine scratches and swirl marks and is applied following 1000-1200 grit wet/dry sanding - 16.96 oz. container.

For a glass smooth final finish, use a Hook & Loop (H&L) Lamb's Wool Buffing Pad running at 1,200-1,400 RPM. Pad use requires Threaded H&L Backing Plate, sold separately.
