Cut clean plugs in any variety of wood

Radial relief on cutting edges ensures Woodtek USA® RTS-2000™ Tapered Plug Cutters really cut and not simply tear, burnish and burn wood like other plug cutters:

  • Radial relief also means both long- and cross-grain plugs cut easily with lower torque on the plug, virtually eliminating the chronic breakoff problem found with competing cutters.
  • As an added benefit, heat-treated stainless steel cutting edges last much longer than regular steel because cutting edge micro-erosion and corrosion are greatly reduced - particularly important when cutting acidic woods like Oak.
  • Cutters produce a slightly tapered plug (1°) for an excellent fit in both hard or soft woods.
  • Sizes up to 5/8" dia. have 3/8" shanks - 3/4" and larger dia., 1/2" shanks.
  • Three tines per cutter up to 1" dia. - four tines per cutter, 1-1/8" dia. and up.
  • 908-340 - 3-piece set includes 1/4", 3/8", 1/2".
  • 908-347 - 5-piece set includes 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8".
