ONEWAY Manufacturing's lathe chucks feature four-jaw self centering operation, 1-1/2" easy entry woodworm screws, taper lock adaptors and profile top jaws to meet the most stringent woodturning requirements:

  • Key-operated Stronghold Chuck provides one-handed operation and solid holding power:
  • Long key is supported in two places for longer life and accuracy - precision-machined gear teeth guarantee no skip.
  • Capacities (with #2 jaws): external chucking 2" min., 3"-1/2" max. - internal chucking 2-5/8" min., 4"-1/8" max.
  • 5-1/2" dia., weighs 8 lbs.


  • ONEWAY Scroll Chuck is operated by two levers for one-handed operation:
  • Four lever holes in body and three in scroll create a constant differential - levers are high-strength steel and will not deform or bend in use.
  • Zigzag base jaw slide design gives 50% more contact area for longer life and easier operation.
  • Capacities (with #2 jaws): external chucking 1-3/4" min., 3" max. - internal chucking 2" min., 3-1/2" max.
  • Will not fit spindles larger than 1-1/4" dia.
  • 4" dia., weighs 4.5 lbs.


  • Talon Chuck is designed with the same principles as its larger counterparts but is intended for lathes with 16" or less swing:
  • Key operated - supported in two places for longer life and accuracy. Gear teeth precision-machined to guarantee no skip.
  • Top jaws are interchangeable with ONEWAY chuck top jaws.
  • Capacities (with #2 jaws): external chucking 1-5/8" min., 2-7/8" max. - internal chucking 2" min., 3-3/8" max.
  • Will not fit spindles larger than 1-1/4" dia.
  • 3-1/2" dia., weighs 3.4 lbs.


  • Chucks feature nickel-plated bodies, hardened base jaws and manganese phosphate coated scrolls. All include patented over-extension prevention system for added safety and sets will fit
