HEX DRIVE DIE CAST THREADED INSERTS FOR WOOD


Easily add machine screw threads to wooden components

These threaded inserts are die cast, zinc alloy mechanical fasteners available in sizes and configurations to ensure alignment and resist pullout:

  • Type "D" Hex Drive screw-in nuts have flanged heads that allow depth control and straight alignment. Tapered external threads ensure positive resistance against pullout. Designed for blind, end and edge grain applications.
  • Type "E" and "H" Hex Drive nuts are similar but without the the flange. They can be used in the bottom of a hole, be set below the surface, used on curved surfaces or used to join two components.
  • Install using a 6mm hex wrench (not included).
  • Type "A" Knock-In nuts do not have flanges.
  • Imported.
