NYLON ABRASIVE PADS

TAKES THE PLACE OF STEEL WOOL IN FINE SURFACE PREPERATION
Nylon Abrasives are used to put a very high burnish on wood surfaces for oil finishing and will efficiently scuff lacquer and varnish finishes between coats. They also remove rust and prepare metal surfaces for painting. Available in 6" x 9" sheets:

  • Sand to 320 grit and then use nylon pads for highly burnished surface.
  • Use maroon pad for scuffing lacquer and varnish between coats.
  • Use gray or white pad for smoothing poly oils between coats.
  • Can be used with water and rinsed for reuse without rusting.
  • One nylon pad does the work of many steel wool pads.

  • SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Maroon pad: very fine grade, 360-400 grit, #00-#000 steel wool.
  • Gray pad: ultra fine grade, 800-1000 grit, #0000 steel wool.
  • White pad: polishing grade.

  • TO HELP COMPLETE YOUR PURCHASE, MAY WE SUGGEST:
  • Custom Backed Nylon Discs and Rolls - 912-776.
