Metal tipped safety stops inside immediately stop the machine if the belt on the POWERMATIC® Model 1632 16" Open End Belt Sander breaks:

  • 5HP, 230V, 1PH or 7-1/2HP, 230V, 3PH motors with 1/4HP feed motors (135-146 and 135-149 include digital readouts) - 2,200 SFPM.
  • Combination head promotes more consistent finish - 5" x 16" working thickness/width - 13-3/4" minimum board length.
  • Load meter monitors operation while automatic tracking keeps belt centered.
  • 4" dia. dust collection port - minimum 800 cfm required.
  • Front emergency rail stop and 17"W x 54"L sanding belt included.
  • 66"H x 40"W x 29"D.
