RIGID MOUNTS COUPLE WITH RESILIENT INSERTS FOR A SNUG FIT
Tenn-Tex Plastics® introduces a panel retainer system that combines a cast polycarbonate rigid mount with a variety of pliable inserts allowing you to mount nearly any thickness panel in frame rabbets of nearly any depth:

  • The two piece system consists of a clear rigid mount that can be coupled with resilient inserts from 1/16" to 29/64" thick to handle a wide combination of panel thicknesses and rabbet depths.
  • The inserts are made from a clear, resilient polymer that provides a secure mount with a soft touch to protect fragile panels; inserts attach securely to mounting clips.
  • Allow about 1/16" more than the offset between the panel and frame for the inserts to compress. (i.e. a panel that is flush with the frame would require a 1/16" insert.)
  • 158-567 Starter Kit includes 100 Retainer clips, 50 each 1/16", 3/16", 5/32", 13/64", 17/64", 5/16", 23/64" and 29/64" resilient inserts, and 100 - #6x1/2" FH wood screws, all in a compartmented storage box with a chart to select the best insert for your application.
