  • Low profile inserts let you put 1/4-20 machine threads in wooden components as thin as 13/32".
  • Inserts are 9/32" thick and can be inserted in a blind hole as shallow as 5/16".
  • Use a 1/2" pilot hole in hard materials and a 7/16" diameter pilot hole in softer materials.
  • Thread depth is 17/64"; a ridge on the inside of the insert helps prevent fasteners from breaking through the mounting substrate.
  • The top flange on the insert is 5/8" diameter.
  • Packed 10 inserts per pkg.
