Features such as the blade zero indicator, which sets the cutterhead to the exact thickness of the material, helps the DELTA® Model 22-580 Industrial 13", 2 speed finishing planer stand out from the competition:

  • 120VAC, 15A motor.
  • Two feed speeds: 20 FPM for dimensioning; 30 FPM for an ultra smooth surface on the final pass.
  • Two HSS, double sided knives; 10,000 RPM cutterhead.
  • Oversized cutterhead height handle with indexing ring gives exactly 1/16" change in thickness per rotation.
  • Full range depth stop for accurate, repeatable thickness at any dimension across the entire 1/8" to 6-1/2" height range.
  • 13" maximum stock width; 10" minimum length of unbutted stock.
  • Includes index pins, cutterhead wrench, blade magnet and instruction manual.
  • 23-1/4"H x 27-3/4"D x 17-1/2"W.
  • Weighs 97 lbs.


    • Both DELTA® ShopMaster™ planers feature powerful 120V, 15A motors for superior stock removal, reversible High Speed Steel double edged knives for twice the cutting life and poly V-belt and pulley cutterhead drive with rugged gearbox/chain and sprocket feed roll drive for maximum power transmission:

  • TP-400LS - 12-1/2" portable planer handles 26 FPM and features:
  • Patented cutterhead lock to stabilize the cutterhead for complete rigidity and superior snipe control.
  • 12-1/2" maximum stock width.
  • 6" maximum stock thickness; 1/8" minimum thickness.
  • 3/32" depth of cut.
  • Minimum length of unbutted stock is 10".
  • Includes dust chute, extra set of double edged reversible knives, knife installation tool, stand, wrench and instruction manual.
  • Weighs 68 lbs.


  • TP-300 - The 12" portable planer handles 26.2 FPM and offers:
  • 12" maximum stock width
  • 6" maximum stock thickness; 3-16" minimum thickness.
  • 3/32" depth of cut
  • Minimum length of unbutted stock is 12"
  • Includes dust chute, knife-setting gauge, wrench and instruction manual.
  • Weighs 62 lbs.
