General International^® pulled out all the stops with the Model 25-200 M1 Maxi Lathe VS+. It has a 12" swing, a 360° pivoting headstock and a 3/4 HP high-torque DC motor with three speed ranges for bowl turning and high speed spindle work. This rock-solid little lathe is 50% heavier than other midi lathes in the same category coming in at 146 lbs. It comes with a short outboard bed and a tool rest post extension for turning open bowls and plates up to 19" diameter on the outboard side. An optional 32" bed extension is available for longer work expanding the distance between centers to 49":
