THOSE WHO WANT THE BEST CHOOSE BLUM®
CLIP top BLUMOTION™ hinges have the soft closing mechanism integrated into the hinge cup. Now you can add superior soft closing function regardless of door weight or closing speed as simply as installing a hinge. The hinges fit the standard Blum® boring pattern, require a 13mm cup boring depth and are compatible with all standard CLIP™ mounting plates. New hinge geometry allows use on cabinet doors up to 1" thick.

  • All steel nickel plated hinges with CLIP™ attachment of hinges to mounting plates and three way adjustment including spiral tech depth adjustment.
  • 110° and 110°+ opening angle in full overlay (straight arm) style with screw-on (wood screw), press-in(dowelled) or Inserta™(tool free) mounting. Screw-on components require #6x5/8" FH Nickel plated screws -purchase separately
  • 110°+ hinges allow for greater overlay - best suited to cabinets with 19mm sidewall thickness.
  • Press-in (dowelled ) cups must be mounted using the Manual Knock-in Tool or appropriate insertion ram on a hinge machine to prevent damaging the BLUMOTION™ mechanism.(See link below)
  • Hinges include an on-off feature on the soft closing mechanism for lightweight doors or where lighter closing force is required. (Turn "off" one hinge, close the door once to reset the mechanism - reverse the operation to re-instate the soft closing feature.)
  • For applications where cabinet doors open against an adjoining wall, an Angle restriction clip can be used to restrict the opening angle to 86° to keep door pulls from contacting the wall. (See link below)
  • For retrofit applications where the hinge cup boring depth is not a full 13mm, a 1.5mm thick Hinge cup spacer can be used to raise the cup for proper operation.
