Leather is the best honing medium for producing razor sharp edges on cutting tools. It deburrs and polishes, reducing sharpening time. The 1-1/2" X 2" sleeve mounts on a standard sanding drum and can be run in a drill press or bench mounted drill motor. Our leather clad wheels are Baltic Birch plywood with high quality leather glued onto three faces. Use a different buffing compound on each surface for speedier sharpening.Leather faced wheels have a 1" bore and telescoping bushings to fit 1/2", 5/8" or 3/4" arbors use with a single buffing compound.
