These metal tread ball casters are the original Shepherd&Reg; casters- manufactured in the USA for over 50 years:

  • Durable zinc die-cast construction make these the ideal casters for furniture, store fixtures, medical equipment and office equipment.
  • Self lubricating acetyl resin bearing.
  • No exposed axle to collect debris.
  • Hard tread designed for use on carpeted floors.
  • Casters swivel easily because the pivot point is below the caster's center of gravity.
  • Available in Antique Brass, Bright Brass or Bright Chrome finish.
  • Grip neck stem mount - 5/16" x 1-1/2" (includes sockets).
  • 1-1/2" dia. casters have 40 lbs. dynamic load rating (not rated for chairs)
  • 2" casters are rated at 75 lbs.
  • 2-1/2" casters are rated at 100 lbs.
